The Finance and Stewardship Ministry strives to enthusiastically and joyfully share the message of God's faithful love and grace (and) to call people to personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, to commit to Him and to become active members of His church through obedient service in the world. Some of the activities of this Ministry include:

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witness in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. " 
(Acts 1:8)

Stewardship Goal

Christ Presbyterian Church has distinguished itself as being very generous in its giving of time, talent and money. The average per family giving of our church has exceeded the average per family giving throughout the Presbytery consistently during that time. As a vital, growing congregation our stewardship goals must provide not only for today, but also for the future. We must provide for today and yet fund future growth not only in our physical facilities but also in staff. With this growth also comes increased opportunity to serve those who are in need of our support. We will always make certain that our giving to these benevolences never takes a backseat to any other portion of the budget.

Stewardship time also affords each and every one of the church's members to look at their own commitment to Him and rededicate their time and talents to the many opportunities available through active participation in the ministries of the Christ Presbyterian Church.

Simply stated our goals are to work with God's guiding hand to:

• Provide for the recurring annual Operating Budget
• Reduce the burden of indebtedness to free Christ Church to expand its ministry into the 21st Century
• To utilize the Time and Talents of each and every one of its members.

With God's help and blessing we will find a way to continue to meet or exceed our / His goals.
