Discipleship 101 is CPC's way of taking time each summer to work together to support our communities locally, nationally, and across the globe. As followers of Christ, we know that we are called to help others, but how do we do this while remaining physically distant?

In a combination of stay-at-home projects and go-and-do projects, we will be working together to support Manna on Meridian, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, The Backpack Project, Second Harvest, UKirk, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, and more.

Ready to Sign Up? Click here to let us know what projects you want to do.

THIS YEAR'S PROJECTS
Go-and-Do Projects (Saturday, August 1):
  • Deliver meals on behalf of Second Harvest
  • Deliver backpacks to  The Backpack Project
  • Plant Flowers at UKirk
  • Deliver and assemble bunk beds for children made by "Sleep in Heavenly Peace" (tentative)

Stay-at-Home Projects (anytime, drop off beginning 7/27)
  1. Assemble hygiene kits for Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (click here to see the supply list)
  2. Assemble bags of school supplies for local children in need (click here to see the supply list)
  3. Fill backpacks of essential items for area homeless residents  (click here to see the supply list)
  4. Make masks: Either (a) cut masks from fabric and templates supplied by the church, or (b) stitch masks cut out by other volunteers from the church. Please specify how many masks you are willing to cut or stitch. Those who are willing to cut fabric or sew masks will be contacted with patterns.
  5. Make t-shirt bags: Bags made from T-shirts are used to share food and clothing on the 3rd Saturday of each month by Manna on Meridian.
